SRF Conference Plenary Session & More Now Online
Presentations from the 37th Annual SRF Conference are currently being uploaded. The Plenary Session videos are now online, as well as videos from the concurrent session entitled Let the River Run: Insights into Understanding the Klamath Basin Concurrent Session and the workshop entitled Growing Impacts: Cannabis and Instream Flow. 2019 SRF Awards
SRF is happy to announce the 2019 Award Recipients. MaryAnn King and Anna Halligan of Trout Unlimited won the illustrious Restorationist of the Year award, Leslie Ferguson of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Marcin Whitman (former CDFW Senior Engineer) received the Golden Pipe award, and Charlie Schneider of Redwood Empire, TU, received the Gordon Becker Memorial River Advocate Award.
Save the Date: 22nd Annual Coho Confab
August 23-25, Klamath River
SRF with the support of California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will host the 22nd Annual Coho Confab at Sandy Bar Ranch on the Klamath River. Join SRF, Mid-Klamath Watershed Council, Hoopa, Karuk, and Yurok tribes, and other restoration partners in a destination Confab on the Klamath River. This Confab will focus on off-channel habitat, large wood, thermal refugia, fish passage, prescribed fire techniques, levee setbacks and restoring the natural channel, and tour exciting restoration projects throughout the Klamath and Trinity River region. The agenda will be posted shortly and registration will open in early June.

Watershed Stewards Program Now Accepting Applications
WSP is currently recruiting for AmeriCorps Members to serve in Year 26 of their 10.5 month program. Applications must be submitted by June 28. See their website for more details.
Salmon River Dives: July 23-24
The annual Salmon River Spring Chinook Cooperative Dive will be held on July 23-24, 2019 in Forks of Salmon. Together, 80 trained divers will swim and count spring Chinook and summer steelhead in the Salmon River, its forks, and key tributaries. Please check out their website for more information. Registration is required to attend, use the online RSVP form to sign up.
Smith River Fish Count: August 2-4
The Smith River Alliance is happy to announce the 2019 Smith River Fish Count will take place August 2-4, 2019. This event contributes to annual monitoring of summer adult salmonid populations in the Smith River. Training, coordination, and camping will take place at Rock Creek Ranch. Coastal Resilience NFWF Funding Opportunity: Pre-proposals due May 20
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation is currently accepting preproposals for the National Coastal Resilience Fund. NFWF will award approximately $29 million in grants on a competitive basis throughout the United States to create, expand, and restore coastal and estuarine natural systems. Grants will support projects that will increase protection for communities while also improving valuable habitats for fish and wildlife species. See the full request for proposals for more details.
